We build custom, completely handmade guitars for professional and amateur musicians to their specifications, based on their playing style and preferred sound.
All of our instruments are completely hand carved and shaped in our workshop, using both classic and modern methods of lutherie. Our steel stringed instruments employ pre-war scalloped x-bracing, and we offer a wide variety of tone woods for tops, sides, and backs.
We take pride in providing our customers with guitars that far surpass the quality of factory-made instruments, each with an individual personality and hundreds of hours of craftsmanship.
Currently, our available models for order are:
Parlor, Orchestra Model, Classical, Dreadnought, Electric, Electric Bass
The process all begins with a conversation, and selection of top, back & side tone wood, neck & fingerboard woods, rosette and bindings, tuning machines, and more.
We only build ten guitars per year, so please contact us to start designing a hand-built guitar of your very own. We look forward to crafting a guitar that is a perfect fit for you.

The Spampinato Parlor Guitar

Fret Dress and Recrowning (setup included): Another major factor in the “playability” of your guitar is the condition of your frets. With our Fret Dress and Recrowning, we will first level your frets, eliminating any hard to play areas and/or buzzing, and then we will reshape, recrown, and polish the frets, for maximum ease of playing. Finally, we will condition the fretboard and do a complete setup, as described above. Your frets will look and feel as good as new – often even better than new!
General Repairs and Upgrades: Whether you’d like us to install a pickup in your acoustic instrument, or replace/upgrade the existing electronics on your electric guitar or bass, we’re happy to give you a free estimate on the cost. We also will conduct a wide variety of specific and unique repairs that your guitar may require (acoustic and electric), and, again are happy to put your guitar on the rack, come up with our best solution, and provide you with a proposed timeline and free estimate on the work.
